"Nem! Nem! Moron! (No! No! Moron!)"
         "Mi?? (What??)"
It was another usual day at P.T. Flea's Circus. Everyone except Tuck and Roll were already finished with their rehearsing. The two pillbugs couldn't get finished. And there was only one reason. It was Roll, with his usual mischevious attitude towards practicing the acts that he and Tuck were SUPPOSED to be practicing. Instead, he would always mess up because he couldn't find the "perfect" place to land on, or Tuck would perform too well and he would just call it quits. Needless to say, Tuck was getting fed up. Every day since the few months after the two pillbugs joined the circus, Roll began to start hesitating to perform due to Tuck's persistant urging to do perfectly. Tolerance was beginning to get low. Today, Tuck finally decided to do something about it.
The spool at the center of the ring to be landed on was the perfect target. As Roll finally was persuaded to climb to the top of the ladder and onto the trapeze swing, Tuck quietly waited until his brother began swinging. As he flew off and plummeted downward, Tuck ran toward the spool and snatched it away before Roll landed on it. The other pillbug sensed that something was missing and screamed. Instead of landing on the spool that was so used to being there, he landed on hard ground.
"Ow! Tuck!" Roll got up from the ground and brushed himself off. He furiously faced Tuck and growled. Tuck just smiled. Roll lumbered over to his brother and stopped a short distance from his face. Just as Tuck expected, he began scolding him like crazy. But soon noticing that Tuck didn't respond, Roll quieted down. Instead of asking why Tuck didn't yell or slap him back, Roll questioned Tuck why he played that trick on him.
"Latod en belebetegszem ebbe, Roll, hogy te nem csinalod a munkadat, ezert en megbuntetlek egy kicsit. (You see, Roll, I am very sick of you hesitating to perform like you're supposed to, and I've decided to teach you a small lesson.)"
Roll shrugged. "Mit tanultal ebbol a tortenetbol? (What kind of lesson was taking the spool away?)"
Tuck led Roll away from the ring and outside. Everyone else left the circus to get dinner, so Tuck and Roll were alone.
"Hat nemerted, Roll? Ahoz hogy ebben a cirkuszban egyutt maradjunk ehez egyut kell dolgozni. Hogy ha kell akkor mindanyiunknak. Te csak gyakorold a perfectleszallasi helyet es ne add fell es csak jatszal. Olyan legyel mint voltal azelott. Hagy legyunk buszke rad. Ez a te eleted. (Don't you understand, Roll?? In order for this circus to stay together, we must work together. And that means all of us. You must keep practicing, and perfect landing spots and me performing better doesn't mean you must give up and just start fooling around. Be the bug you used to be. Make all of us proud. This is your life.)"
Roll sighed and nodded. Tuck continued after a few moments.
"Azt akarom mondani, hogy remelem a kemeny fold beledvert egy kis eszt vegre es ha nem akkor ye neked latni kell hogy en olyan vagyok mint egy cernaorso, mint a orso es te mi egyutt dolgozunk. Ha valamelyikunket is elveszik vagy mergesitenek allandoan akkor az egesz mutatvany elvan rontva. (What I am saying is that I hope that the hard ground knocked some sense into you finally. And if it didn't, then you must realize that I am like that spool. Like the spool and yourself, we work together. If one of us is taken away, or infuriated over and over again, then the whole act is ruined.)"
Tuck decided that Roll understood, and slowly walked away. Roll watched his brother leave and was finally left alone in the dusk.
"Igaza van (He's right)," he admitted, "mitgondoltam en? Ennekem olyannak kell lenni amilyen voltam. De talan.... (what was I thinking? I should be the bug I was. But maybe....)" He turned to the tentflap and saw the ring with the removed spool. "Naaah...." The pillbug smiled and followed his brother down the alleyway.
